On entering the 5 Star Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel in Glasgow, the very first thing that you notice is room after room of stunning Harris Tweeds – and  we’re not (just) referring to the designer outfits of the elegant guests.

Those soigné residents can be seen relaxing on a sweep of deliciously comfortable classic Harris Tweed sofas, plumped with orange tartan cushions, in the Lounge; perching on Savile Row worthy windowpane checks (complete with tailored back-vents) at the Salon bar; and exchanging flirty looks over moody-heather purple seats in the Restaurant, all crafted from this exquisite material for upholstery. The bedrooms, a stylish comfort-zone of quiet-luxury provide guests with club chairs and sumptuously heavy, dawn engulfing floor-length curtains all a whisper-soft palette of pale greys.

 

Designers Graven worked with Harris Tweed Hebrides to create a showcase of next-level luxury; with bespoke tweeds exclusive to the hotel used throughout the gorgeous five-storey Georgian listed building.
