Harris Tweed Hebrides won the Scottish Textile Brand of the Year prize at the Scottish Fashion Awards held at the Glasgow Science Centre last night (wed).

The operator of the Shawbost mill is described as “a brand that delivers on quality and shines a light on Scotland’s most precious of industries by helping to inspire some of the top designers in the world.”

It has helped revitalise the Hebridean textile industry and taken the fabric into the front-line of 21st century fashion and design.
