Brian Wilson - Chairman
The Rt Hon Brian Wilson stood down at the last election after 18 years in Parliament. Between 1997-2005, he held five Ministerial posts, including Minister for Trade and Minister for Energy.
Latterly, he acted as the Prime Minister's Special Representative on overseas trade and since leaving Parliament, he has continued to take a close interest in the energy sector.
He is a director of Celtic FC, whose centenary history he wrote. He is married with three children and lives in Glasgow and the Isle of Lewis |

Ian A MacKenzie - Chief Executive
Harris Tweed Hebrides chief executive Ian Angus MacKenzie was, for the past 14 years chief executive of the Harris Tweed Authority, the industry regulator which protects the Orb trademark and guarantees the authenticity of the cloth. |

Ian R Taylor - Director
Ian Taylor comes from a Scottish family and was educated at King's Macclesfield and Oxford where he graduated with an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Since graduating he has been primarily involved in the oil business for the past 30 years.
He joined Shell in 1978 and worked in South America and the Far East before moving to Vitol in 1985. Since joining Vitol he has set up the global crude oil trading team and was involved in the formation of Vitol's many international operations especially in the energy markets. He was Managing Director of Vitol Asia between 1992 and 1994, based in Singapore. He returned to Europe to take up the post of Chief Executive in 1995 since when he has been actively involved in expanding Vitol's businesses on a global basis including adding upstream and downstream petroleum assets to their portfolio. Vitol is today one of the world's largest independent physical oil and gas trading companies.
Ian lives primarily in London (when not travelling), is married to Cristina and they have four children. They are involved in numerous charities and have recently established their own Charity Foundation. |

Alasdair Morrison - Director
Alasdair Morrison from North Uist, represented the Western Isles in the Scottish Parliament between 1999 and 2007. For nine years prior to politics he worked for the BBC as a news and current affairs reporter. He lives in Lewis and is married with two children. He is also the Managing Director of Simply Renewable Ltd. |

When Harris Tweed Hebrides LLP was created, Rae Mackenzie was appointed as Sales Director. He was previously Head of Sales at Kenneth Mackenzie Limited, the Harris Tweed Trading Company, and latterly, the KM Group. |
